イギリスの児童文学作家。創作物語からノンフィクションまで幅広い著作があり、おもな作品は, “TheDinosaur Department Store”, “Hello, Hot Dog!”, “Jungle Adventure”など多数。画家のジェニー・ラブリーとの共著は他に“Maisy Jones and the Dinosaur Bones”, “The Girl Who Loves Bugs”、本書の続編“The Dress with 100 Pockets”がある。
